Summer Reading, Week SEVEN!

We’re almost through!  There are only TWO MORE WEEKS to add books to your Reading Log.  Our deadline for entering books is MIDNIGHT on MONDAY, August 26th (for the Kids and Young Readers Programs) and THURSDAY, August 22nd (for the Teen Program.)

Make sure you get your reading entered!

This is WEEK SEVEN of the Summer Reading Program!

Our Theme is: Digging Gnomes, Trolls and Other Underground Fantasy Creatures!
Our Craft is: Make a Gnome, Mermaid or Elf!

SPECIAL PROGRAMS this week:
HOGWARTS TRAINING ACADEMY, Tuesday, August 13th. Learn some Harry Potter magic, and take a Defense Against the Dark Arts class! Registration is required, please check our calendar for details and stop by the Library to sign up.

You can register this week for ONE SKY, MANY STORIES, which will be on Monday morning, August 19th for kids ages 6 – 12. Learn about the constellations in an inflatable planetarium. Sign up at the Youth Services Desk in person!

This week’s regular Programs:
Drop in Storytime on Wednesday afternoon
and Summer BookClub on Tuesday night

Teen Crafts on Monday afternoon
Teen Movie Night on Thursday

(No Bedtime Storytime this week due to the special Hogwarts program.)

This week’s Summer BookClub discussion is on the  Judy Moody series. Come in and talk about this favorite book series and listen to a chapter read aloud!
